SCOTT JOHNSON

Early Career
I started on my career after coming home from serving in the United States Navy, and finished studies in Northern Illinois. Business and finance were my chosen studies and still are ongoing as of present. More on that later. So being born and raised in Chicago I was happy to be home from San Diego where I served. I loved California, but home is home. However I soon realized that I had forgotten how cold it was after being away so long. So one 80 degree below zero wind chill day, I had finally decided to seize an opportunity in sunny Florida and thaw out. In Florida I was very fortunate to have had great tutelage when I moved to the Palm Beach Florida area, and still feel to this day that I learned from some of the best pure brokers in the world. I cut my teeth in an atmosphere of transferred New York Wall Street types that were hard charged to the maximum, in an arena where there was no mercy. Was like the old saying, "You either did it right or you were eliminated."
To The Top
In the 90s when the market was screaming, and technology was smoking hot, the Nasdaq was on fire and many people wanted a job doing in which I did. Being a venture capitalist. So the pressure was on to write business or else. I quickly learned and climbed up the leader board. Through hard work, and a relentless push to try and be the best, I was able to accomplish this. My motto was never to try and succeed. No no no. Rather to strive to be the "best of the best" and always succeed. The competition was very fierce, and I thrived on it as it is in my nature to do so. Our office was in Trump Plaza overlooking multimillion dollar yachts cruising the intracoastal waterway. Palm Beach Island was directly across the waterway, and the Atlantic Ocean was beyond that. What a view to look at for a hungry broker! So there was plenty of motivation to say the least. I remember looking at this view while having a cup of coffee and hearing stories from extremely high net worth individuals as our balcony adjoined the Palm Beach Yacht Club's. Many of those individuals were living large on Palm Beach, and I took their advice in like a sponge. After accomplishing being the top broker in the Palm Beach branch, I then went out on my own and continued to help companies that I believed in. I always looked for companies that had a niche, just as I was trained to do so. I helped these companies go to the next level, and then take them beyond what their expectations were. My motto was to go beyond the call of duty for my clients and the rest will take care of itself. I still employ this very simple philosophy as it has never failed me.

Expertise
I have a wide range of experience and have been a business developer/marketer for over 17 years. I have raised capital for companies and packaged them in order to bring them public or to help them grow, while also putting them in very good position to be acquired. My strengths lie in being able to determine the proper vehicle in order to get the company where they want to go, and then having the ability to infuse the right amounts of seed capital required to reach the milestones. The vehicles frequently used throughout my career as a broker included but not limited to Reg D 504 505 506 offerings, debt instruments, bridge loan and mezzanine funding, partnerships, debentures, etc. I have raised private on public as well. I have also marketed for, and helped create REITS as well as doing various raises for commercial real estate properties such as hotels. I have also raised capital for hedge funds in which I managed and traded. I specialized in trading spot gold, and spot foreign currencies called the forex market. I personally have traded these markets for the past six years. The fastest roller coaster in town is the Foreign Currency Exchange (FX) market. Has about a three trillion dollar a day volume give or take.
Business Strategies For Growth
I consider myself to be an expert at identifying excellent business opportunities, as well as being able to identify companies with a niche as I mentioned previously. I am always on the hunt for individuals and companies with that "it" factor. I feel that there is a tremendous need to try and help businesses, and people today more than ever in my life time. In this era of business I feel the cream will rise to the top, as it always does. The majority of the rest may get eliminated. Some may never get back to making the money they once did for quite some time unless they change tacts. To be highly successful today one must recognize that the change of the times calls for a change in strategy. This is why I am committed to helping as many people and businesses as I can to exceed their expectations, and increase the productivity of them. My business development, web development skills, and savvy marketing techniques have been accepted by many companies with open arms. Once again I feel that the times have changed and thereby strategies must also change. Otherwise it is like the old Anthony Robbins saying goes. It is like a fly that wants to get out and he keeps hitting the glass, and hitting the glass, over and over. Yes the fly has effort, but the fly also has the wrong strategy to achieve its goal. So I have developed new proven ways to grow business vertically, as well as using newly released programs and technology to help accomplish these tasks. My commitment to excellence is and always will be my top priority. It is in my very fabric, and in my "branding" to continue to strive to help others hit their stride.
